ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Effective Date: May 18, 2026
Our Commitment
Mozaika Foundation is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This commitment is inseparable from our core mission: we work every day to build a more inclusive world for children with autism and their families, and our website should reflect those same values.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, Mozaika Foundation takes the following measures:
- Include accessibility as a requirement when making updates to the website
- Use plain, clear language throughout the site
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content (images, icons)
- Ensure sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Make all functionality available via keyboard navigation
- Ensure forms (contact, donation) have clear labels and error messages
- Avoid content that flashes or blinks rapidly
Known Limitations
We are continuously working to improve. Some areas currently under review:
- Full screen-reader compatibility on the donation form
- Alternative text on all images, including story photographs
- Video captions (for any future video content)
We aim to address these areas by [Target Date].
